OUR AIM
To provide a warm, friendly atmosphere where children can feel safe and happy whilst promoting their physical, social, emotional and intellectual development, through a range of imaginative activities, opportunities and experiences.

We offer a curriculum from the Early Years Foundation stage.  All children are supported in developing their potential at their own pace.  The children learn through appropriate play and adult supported activities.  All Children have the support of a personal Key Worker.

THE STAFF

The staff are highly experienced, checked by the D.B.S. (Disclosing and Barring Service, formally known as C.R.B.) and hold a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES
The Group are committed to equal opportunities and treat all individuals with the same respect; regardless of creed, colour, class, gender or ability.

SPECIAL EDUCATION NEEDS
We welcome all children regardless of their ability. All staff have special educational needs training and the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator will be able to advise on the best course of action for including any child with additional needs.

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT
We recognise that parents are the first and most significant influence over their children’s education and want to be involved at every stage of their development. For this reason we endeavour to work in partnership with parents/carers. This is achieved in various ways, for example, the group is run by a committee elected by parents and carers who are actively encouraged to participate at all levels of the playgroup’s operation from administration to hands on helper volunteers.
